the ”wagram“ with its pannonian climatic influence forms the basis of all work and production. this terrace of up to 40 meters height consists of a large proportion of loess and a smaller amount of gravel and boulders. loess as the main feature of the wagram’s soil allows the growth of aromatic wines. on the basis of its composition of sediment and lime as geological underlayer it offers ideal conditions for viniculture.
